At J & W Barnes Plumbers all of our Trademen and Engineers have completed the Plumbing Modern Apprenticeship – SVQ Level 3 qualification and have served at least a year under the supervision of a Qualified SNIPEF Plumber before being sent to your jobs. Between them our Engineers offer over 172 combined years of service and experience in the Plumbing and Gas industry to enable them to complete any jobs you have to your satisfaction.

A Third Generation Family Business

Here at J & W Barnes Plumbers, the company founded by John and William Barnes in 1952, was passed to John’s sons, William and Ian Barnes in 1984, and is now run by Ian Barnes and William’s son, Russell.

Russell and Alan are also working in the business as Technical Plumbers and Gas Engineers, and David, our Bathroom Plumbing specialist is an expert in Bathroom plumbing, design and refurbishing with his tiling expertise second to none.

That’s three generations of Plumbers all working to give you that family business security and responsibility, working for their reputation and family pride to give you the customer the best job possible, whatever it may be from changing the washer on a tap to totally refurbishing a bathroom by rebuilding walls, installing new suites and tiling both the wall and floors after the underfloor heating has been installed.
